Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026. We review this policy at least once a year and whenever we change how we collect personal information.

1. Who we are

This policy explains how EnablingOrbit Pty Ltd (ABN 61 677 520 517), trading as EnablingOrbit ("we", "us"), handles personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

For privacy enquiries, contact Yomi Bello at yomi@enablingorbit.com or 0423 594 725.

2. What personal information we collect

  • Contact details you give us when you make an enquiry or book a call, such as your name, email address, phone number, organisation and role.
  • Information in your responses to the Orbit Compliance Scan, and in any questionnaire we send to your organisation.
  • Information we receive while delivering services to you, such as meeting notes, service agreements and invoices.

This website does not set cookies or use analytics.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you: by email, by phone, through Calendly when you book a call, and through questionnaires we send to your organisation.

4. Why we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver our services, prepare findings reports, issue invoices and, with your consent, send you updates. We do not sell personal information.

5. Third-party services and overseas storage

We use these providers, which may hold personal information on our behalf:

  • Crazy Domains: email hosting, in Australia
  • Rounded: invoicing
  • Netlify: website hosting, based in the United States
  • Calendly: call bookings, based in the United States
  • Notion: lead and client records, based in the United States

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to ensure they protect personal information.

6. Free self-assessment tools

Answers to our free online self-assessment tools are stored only in your own browser. They are not sent to EnablingOrbit unless you choose to email us your results.

7. Automated decision-making

From 10 December 2026, organisations covered by the Privacy Act must explain in their privacy policy any use of automated decision-making that significantly affects individuals. (OAIC)

We may use AI tools to help draft documents such as findings reports. Yomi reviews every document, and makes every finding, rating and recommendation. No decision that significantly affects you is made solely by a computer program.

8. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including using password-protected accounts with reputable providers.

We keep financial and client engagement records for seven years after an engagement ends, as required by tax and corporations law and for insurance purposes. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after two years.

9. Data breaches

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies.

10. Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing yomi@enablingorbit.com. We will acknowledge your request within five business days and respond within 30 days.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email yomi@enablingorbit.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within five business days and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the OAIC.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
